Product code: English Cotswold Sheep Figure in order Porcelain and Mohair, Lying
The Cotswold comes from the West Midlands of England. The name "Cotswold" was given to the breed because in the early days they were folded or housed in shelters known locally as "cots" or "cotes" and they were pastured on order the wild, treeless hills of the area, called "wolds".
This ewe is approx. 3 1/2" tall and her body is a cast stone (1lb). Her fur is a woven mohair from the same source that Steiff teddy bears uses.
