An elegant antique French chafing dish and trivet dating from the order early 1900s. The trivet has been manufactured from silver plated metal and rests on a set of legs with casters. It opens to reveal a long pan to hold tea light candles to keep a casserole dish or pot warm at table. The trivet has been stamped on the underside with the A. Frenais French silversmiths manufacturing mark.
DIMENSIONS:
10" in Diameter x 2" Tall. (25 cm x 5 cm).
Once opened, it extends to 12" long (30 cm).
CONDITION:
The antique trivet is in very good condition with some signs of use and wear. There is rubbing to the silver plate in places and light knocks and surface marks.
