Yerba Mate Mug with Spikes, Dark Metallic Ceramic Mate Gourd, Yerba order Mate Cup

This Yerba mate mug is covered with tiny spikes individually applied by hand.
They not only insulate your hands from direct heat but also can give you refreshing massage when you gently roll the mug between your hands.
It is handmade of stoneware. In this version I have decorated it with effective glaze that looks like rust metal in some areas and in other is shiny and sparkly. The colour range is from dark steel matte to light glossy brown. This makes each cup different and unique.
Its spherical shape is to keep the heat and steep tea leaves to perfection. You will love how the generous size of this gourd.
The capacity is 450 ml (15.8fl oz).
It is approx 10.5 cm (4in) high and the order opening is 4.5 cm (1.7in) wide.
The mug is available with bombilla (straw) that can be added to your order from the drop down menu.
Hand wash recommended, do no use in microwave.

About yerba mate:
Yerba mate tea also known as mate is a coffeine rich infused drink. It is native to subtropical South America in northeastern Argentina, Bolivia, southern Brazil, Uruguay and Paraguay. It is prepared by steeping dry leaves (and twigs) of the mate plant in hot water, rather than in boiling water. As mate leafs are finely grated, it is drank with a straw called bombilla. The flavor of brewed mate is strongly vegetal, herbal, and grassy, reminiscent of some varieties of green tea. Flavored mate is also available, in which the mate leaves are blended with another herb (such as peppermint) or citrus rind.
