Antique Photo of a Young Man in a order Broken Leather Case That Can Be Repaired, Excellent Photo

The photo in this case is in excellent condition. The photo is in an oval setting of detailed gold frame. The photo depicts a man. I am not an expert in antique photography but I believe this is a Ambrotype photo. This type of photo was made in the late 1800s. These photos do not have a reflective, mirror like surface like Daguerreotype photos.

The cover has separated but can be glued back on. It has a hooked latch. Closed, the case measures 2 7/8 by 2.5 inches. order
