(The earliest stamped WPG photos (like this one) include "Series" and "No." and sometimes the series name as well. Starting in 1963 studio stamps include a zip code.)

Western Photography Guild is a physique photography studio in Denver, Colorado order, USA. It was originally established in 1947 by photographer Don Whitman, one of the original founders of the Mr. Colorado Body Building Contest, along with Lester Workman and Phil Dewald. This contest created a showcase for male physical culture in the Rocky Mountain region.
