Specially priced (wholesale) 100% handmade hand painted doll face brooch with difficult to make mohair wig (very small size) embellished with wired beads, Swarovski crystals, metal fan, etc.

This series is called 'Mariko the Apprentice Geisha' (apprentice geisha is known as a 'maiko' in Japanese, which means dancing girl) and is also embellished with vintage order kimono materials.

The doll brooch is much smaller (details below) than in photos. The tiny wig is handmade. Mohair is delicately placed with toothpick to form wig: a painstaking process.

Each brooch/necklace is one-of-a-kind and face is hand painted by me using a toothpick to capture intricate details. Lightweight and shatter-resistant.

Approximately 2 1/4" wide x almost 4" tall.

Shiny white eye paint reflects, so difficult to capture actual beauty of geisha's eyes.

A truly unique conversation piece for anyone, who loves dolls or anything reminding them of the beauty of Japan.
