Double order bowl lovespoons

Contemporary double bowl decorative steel lovespoons available in four designs (left to right: design 1, 2, 3 and 4). A great gift for a wedding or anniversary.

Each lovespoon is formed order from a single piece of steel. As a third generation blacksmith working with this material for many years, I have developed an understanding of its magical qualities when heated and forged into shape.

The designs are inspired by owning a contemporary carved wooden love spoon displaying only two of the traditional symbolic elements, the heart and bowl. The resulting tactile spoons allow the viewer to develop their own interpretation of each individual piece. Once chosen or received, the lovespoon's meaning is transformed. This completes the original concept.
