Hand made using traditional materials and techniques.
The image is hand painted onto the glass using traditional glass paint and then kiln fired at 660 degrees centigrade which fuses the image to the glass. The yellow colouring is achieved by using traditional silver stain which reacts with the glass surface when heated to temperatures exceeding 560 centigrade.
The glass is framed with lead came strips soldered at the joins and a metal hanging loop is added. Blackened putty holds the glass in place.

This item is completely weatherproof and can be hung inside or outside.The image will never fade or discolour.
