Order Natural Raffia Women Oxfords

Handcrafted natural raffia Oxfords for women (please see separate listing for men Oxfords). The shoes are entirely handmade and take a few days to produce, given the nature of the raffia work involved. Raffia is a natural fibre and comes from the leaf of a palm tree in Madagascar.

These Oxfords will complement many different outfits: they will look elegant casually worn with shorts, jeans, dresses and skirts. They are very comfortable and easy to wear and a must-have in any summer wardrobe!

Description (no animal product):

Upper raffia
Faux-leather insoles
Rubber outsoles and heels

Raffia has a rather coarse texture and may itch a little at first. This will ease-off after a few wears, as the raffia softens. As a natural fibre, raffia will also slightly stretch out with time. Please also note that raffia does not agree with water so please refrain from wearing the shoes in the rain (if at all possible!). Due to their handcrafted nature, each pair of shoes is unique and some slight imperfections may be seen.
