Front fabrics are all 100% cotton, as is the binding fabric. Backing fabric is cotton/polyester blend, soft to the touch and perfect for delicate baby skin. The batting is Warm and Natural 100% cotton batting.
The binding for this quilt is machine sewn on both front and back, making it sturdy enough for lots of use and love. Despite the beauty of this handmade quilt, this was made to be used!
The quilting is a combination of geometric squares and free-motion swirls for variety and interest. The geometric quilting echoes the quilt top square designs.
While handmade, the quilt is durable enough for machine washing (cold water, gentle cycle) and machine drying (tumble dry, low heat). You can air dry for a less puckered look, or put in dryer at low heat for a little more puckers.
This quilt has been washed (no fabric softener) and is made in a smoke-free, cat-friendly home.
