Protective order Breathing Mask with easily Replaceable Filters

I currently have 2 main designs, one with neoprene at the bottom of the mask to allow for more movement of the chin and order one that is solid.
I feel that the solid version would be better for someone with a beard, as it would push back and theoretically make a better seal.

Having someone that is severely immunocompromised in my life, this is an issue that has been perpetually on my mind and I wanted to do all I can to lessen any potential risk of infection for them, as well as myself in delivering it to them.

These masks were designed around the idea that the "blue shop towels" or specifically the "Zep" or "Harbor Freight" brands which were shown to be some of the most efficient materials that the average person could source, in order to increase their personal safety against infection of the Covid-19 virus.

These masks are made from BPA free ABS, cotton and neoprene.

Shell is DISHWASHER SAFE

They've been designed to give the absolute best seal around the face to make sure that as much air as possible passes through the filter media.

They have a neoprene gasket around the edge of the body, to provide a good, comfortable seal around the face.


As you will find from current research, there are other materials that may have a different balance between filtering characteristics and breathability.

Each of these masks comes with 2 rigid o-rings that not only hold the filter media in place but also act as a template so that you can use whatever filter media you want, and find the balance that is right for your specific application.

I worked for a couple weeks designing these and wore the first couple iterations myself to be sure I could work out any problems with the design, I am confident that these are durable, reliable masks that will provide the most protection and allow the most comfort, to the best of my understanding.

I am looking into making childrens sizes but these have been designed to fit "most".
