Although these prints are captured in a digital format, the creation process is a painstaking effort typically requiring several months of research. There are no shortcuts or copy-pasting. Everything you see has been constructed from scratch in a digital environment using original plans obtained from the ship builder or design agent.

All prints are plotted on durable matte finish polypropylene film which will not distort or yellow with age.

All prints are unframed and are shipped rolled in tubes.

Customers can specify any ship from the class when purchasing:

This print captures one of the S/S DELTA ships owned and operated by the Delta Steamship Lines Inc. of New Orleans. These ships were one in a series of five break-bulk freighters built by Ingalls Shipbuilding for Delta's South American freight service. Designated the C3-S-76a, the ships of this class featured an unconventional split house configuration.

The Delta C3s were designed by order Jerome (Jerry) Goldman of Friede and Goldman, Inc. and featured what came to be his signature design elements; raked clipper bow, streamlined elliptical deckhouses and rounded funnels which gave the ships an appearance that more resembled sculpture than contemporary 'stick ship.' With the exception of the keel there are virtually no straight lines on the ship. Residents of Virginia Beach, VA driving over the Shore Drive bridge can see the only remaining Delta C3 (renamed 'Del Monte') berthed at the Little Creek Amphibious base.
