Byzantine is the most commonly requested weave for neck chains but a well thought out Byzantine chain is rarely found. In this version 1/3 of the rings are ever so slightly larger, assuring the rest don't flip up and down and maintain their position during wear. It is easy to make a Byzantine chain look great in a picture, but without this detail or another remedy, as soon as the chain moves it begins to look tangled. Selfishly, I want my work to look good no matter how much you may move.

Components: 7/32” bright aluminum rings and ¼” hard temper copper rings; all rings saw cut, all 16 gauge
