I usually respond right away or within and day. depending on the time of day the message is received.

Many of my items are vintage or antique and may have age and use related wear, including tarnishing, rust, scratches, dents, or any type of imperfections expected of their age. Please do not expect a “like new” item for those categorized as such.

All ELECTRICAL items (such as electric lamps) are sold as I found them unless I note differently. This may include splices in the wiring etc.
I will note if it is in “working” condition but that does not imply that it is certified as “safe” for use.
I implore you to have them inspected by a certified electrician before use.

In the event you receive an item that you are not satisfied with, please message me and we will see if we can come to a mutual solution. This may include shipping it back at your cost and forfeiting the original shipping costs.

ADDED SHIPPING POLICES:

—In order to keep your shipping costs as low as possible and for the sake of our planet, I re-use/recycle packaging materials when ever possible.

—I cannot be responsible for packages that are delivered/left on your property by the carrier. Please request a signature confirmation if you do not want the package delivered without a signature.

—In the unfortunate event that an item is damaged in shipping, it is REQUIRED that you notify me within 48 hours of delivery and include several photos of not only the damage to the item but also several clear photos of the all sides of the shipping box and ALL packing materials as well. You must retain ALL packaging materials and the damaged item until your are notified that the claim has been resolved.

—I do my best, with the knowledge I have, to package your items securely. This typically includes the use of styrofoam packing peanuts or bubble wrap and sometimes double boxing.
****My rule of thumb has always been to package every item as though it WILL be dropped, thrown, and buried under larger and heavier packages!
- Frankly, there is really no such thing as “Free” shipping. I choose to not inflate the SELLNG PRICE of my items to cover the costs that I am incurred to ship them to you.
- I keep the charges separate in order to be fair for all customers, in all shipping zones, near or far. 

WHY I CAN'T / DON'T OFFER *FREE* SHIPPING:

- Shipping costs can vary dramatically between the East and West Coasts shipping zones. I am in Southern California and shipping costs on some items can differ as much or more than $20-$100 between the East and West Coast!

- Inflating the “ITEM” price to cover my shipping charges of items going to the furthest zone from me, results in nearer customers being overcharged.

Occasionally I will offer “Free Shipping” (which actually means “shipping included”) on small items in which the shipping cost is the same rate, regardless of destination.
