order A beautiful black linen inspired me to make this 9 inch square patchwork sashiko quilt bag.
My favorite log cabin patchwork on the front is absolutely covered in hand quilting in black, white, and navy blue, including some Japanese sashiko designs.
Lined with a beige linen skirt remnant. One interior pocket measuring approximately 5 inches square.
Metal zip closure with an abalone shell zipper pull painted with a butterfly motif.
The reverse side pure black linen has a large six inch square zippered pocket.
Black recycled denim jeans quilted base.
Handmade black denim strap with an adjustable length. It changes easily from a 17 inch drop down to a 9 inch drop to suit your preference. Shiny gunmetal purse hardware.

Striking black and white design, handmade with recycled materials, machine washable (remove zipper pull before laundering) and absolutely original.
