This is a tropical perennial plant originating from Central and South American that is normally grown as a houseplant. The Swiss cheese plant, Monstera adansonii, gets its name from its large, heart-shaped leaves. As the plant ages, the leaves become covered with holes that resemble Swiss cheese.

Its an on trend plant and adaptable to any home condition where indirect bright light or low light is allowed. It falls down like vines and cascades down the planter with lush green vines.

This plant is poisonous to some animals. Any new plants entering your home should be considered and researched if you have fury little curious creatures.
