Búpbê Vân-Hóa marked Vietnamese doll.
Research shows that these dolls were designed from 1960 to 1975 and many GIs during the Vietnam era war order would send them home.
This doll is highly detailed. Her fingers are fabric formed complete with nail polish. Her hair is in an up style with a hair band. Her face is fabric formed. She does have a small smudge on her nose.
Her dress is a traditional Au Dai red ribbed velvet over white satin pants. She has a red gauze shawl and a brocaded purse with a chain strap. White shoes. A rhinestone pendant necklace.
She is nailed to a black painted wooden base and marked Búpbê Vân-Hóa Vietnam.
She comes in her original box. The box does show damage is missing one end piece and has a hole in the lid.
