York, Ingram House, Bootham, signed limited edition giclee print of Almshouses, built order 1630

Ingram House, Bootham, York was order built by Sir Arthur Ingram as Almshouses in 1630 and used to be known as Ingram Hospital.

There are ten narrow brick built bays of two low storeys, with a central four story tower. Take a good look at the doorway - it is particularly interesting as it is late Norman and thought to have been moved from Holy Trinity Priory in Micklegate. York Conservation Trust now own the building and in 1959 it was converted into four flats and renamed ‘Ingram House'.

The original drawing has sold, but there are signed limited edition giclee prints available from a set of 20 only, size 42.5 cm x 23 cm. This print will be sent out carefully rolled and wrapped in acid free tissue paper and posted in a thick cardboard tube.
