For sale is a Allium seed head casting from a silicone mould that was created by myself. I have #handpainted this using green shades of gouache paint, some areas are highlighted with metallic metal paints and colour background is black.

All of my work is made by hand and each piece is one of a kind, limited edition or by special commission. I have a Fine Art degree and my work has always focused on natural forms and patterns in nature, expressed through drawing, print making and sculpture.

I find inspiration in the changing seasons, and the design process begins by selecting botanicals which are carefully arranged and pressed into clay, leaving their impression in the medium. After casting and finely sanding, I paint the plaster to replicate the original colour, detail and depth of the subject, creating a lasting memory of the plants or flowers depicted. I also use storytelling in my work, capturing a thought or creating a whimsical character.

Each piece is completed with order a strong canvas backing and machine sewn cord so that it can be displayed on a wall.
Please note that I do use recycled packaging if possible and my packaging chips are compostable/biodegradable.
