The Campo Del Cielo, or Field of Sky meteorite is possibly the heaviest meteorite ever recovered on Earth, with fragments recovered so far totaling about 100 tonnes. The strewn field covers an area of 3 by 18.5 kilometers and contains at least 26 craters, the largest of which is 115 by 91 meters. It's estimated that the meteorite fell to Earth about 4,000 to 5,000 years ago.

As you see in the photos, these earrings vary slightly in length. The longest measures just 2 5/16" inches long. This measurement includes the ear wires.
