This one-of-a-kind pendant necklace features a gorgeously colorful and seemingly order glowing blues, yellows, reds 14x10mm (1/2") monarch opal.

I set the opal in a solid sterling crown bezel, and hung it on a 22" adjustable rope chain, solid sterling silver. Shown in antiqued sterling.

A little more about Monarch opal:

This cultured opal, as well as natural opal, are both created from particles of silica dioxide and water. However, monarch opal is grown, and it takes 4-6 months for the growing process to complete.

This opal color comes from light refraction, NOT dyes. This opal has been classified by the GIA as a true synthetic opal.
