Also includes letters order from Jane Austen on Pride and Prejudice, Lady Caroline Lamb on The Pilgrim of Eternity and Charlotte Bronte on her first offer of marriage amongst many other fascinating letters.

In very good antique condition for a book over 100 years old. Front and back boards a little marked, fabric frayed a little at the lower edge. Pages yellowed foxed and two or three out of the 444 torn, probably from production. There is delightful inscription at the front of the book dated 1922.
