1956 Calendar Unique Burmah-Shell...In India's Life And Part Of It Cool Artwork.

This is from my in-law's collection. I have not been able to find anything quite like it.

See images for condition. The cover is very delicate at the top edge as you can see in the photos.

This is a large calendar, measuring 15 inches tall by 10 inches wide. The back cover is made of thick cardboard and there is a hand written note on the back side. To Dear Godmother From God Child (unable to decipher the name), but it has a date of 5.3.'56

The wording on the front cover reads as follows:
I remember, I remember
The fir-trees dark and high:
I used to think their slender tops
Were close against the sky:
It was a childish ignorance,
But now 'tis little joy
To know I'm farther off from heaven
Than I was a boy.

I try to describe the item the best that I can. I honestly do not think that you will see this anywhere else, Just the artwork in this calendar is something worthwhile. This appears to be able to stand up as well. It makes a great display item and collector piece.
