Bella order Snail Statue

Hand designed using a hard clay, then molded into a hard copy plaster, then molded again using a silicone rubber mix for a permanent backing. Then hand cast into that silicone rubber in a bowl with water and a fine sand and cement mix, demolded, then hand colored using a mix of concrete color, then hand detailed using my finest metal instruments, then finished with a water based concrete sealer for a smooth, low gloss, authentic finish. Bella is the largest snail that I've ever designed so far, and I enjoyed sculpting her as much as I enjoyed sculpting her male counterpart Buddy. Picture# 1 to 5 is old world rustic, and also available in Stone washed finish( no pic). Each and every line in her shell was carefully and methodically sculpted to add a little whimsy and realism to the design. Although snails are typically known to eat the leaves of many plants and vegetation, Bella is not that kind of snail, she is meant to sit in your garden and look cute and adorable. She looks great in a garden filled with lots of greenery, flowers, under a order tree, against a rock, near a water feature, or just sitting by your front steps waiting for you to come home. She is a great addition to a garden filled with critters. Makes a great gift for the gardener,for a housewarming, Mothers Day or an Anniversary, etc. Made to withstand extreme hot and cold temperatures outdoors.
