Welcome to the Hello Felt! virtual classroom, your first step in the path of learning the popular and exciting craft of 3-D needle felting.

I am so very excited to offer an entire one weeks worth of art filled creativity in the form of needle felting instruction, prompts, downloads, and more! The classroom is Now OPEN. There is NO scheduled start time when it comes to taking this class! As the classes are order now "open", you can access the class content via a password protected website anytime, on any day YOU choose, and at the time of YOUR choice. You might elect to go through the class lessons all in one day, or may take several weeks to go through the lessons at a slower pace. The choice is yours! Class content will be open for you for at least an additional 6 months after you purchase the class.

3-D Needle Felts is for anyone who is interested in making those adorable 3-Dimensional characters (like in the photos in this listing), and in general learning the relaxing and forgiving craft of needle felting. Whether you are a beginner who has never done any needle felting before, or someone who has dabbled at the craft successfully - or unsuccessfully! I will get you set on the right track. No matter where you are on your creative path, if you are willing to explore and play, then this class is right for you!

You may have purchased a needle felting kit and do not know how to get started. Or, maybe you've watched those YouTube videos and still feel lost. My method of teaching will resolve all your questions, and show you how to create those beloved 3 Dimensional needle felted creations you are so in love with (I get it- me too!) Your creations will be formed correctly, not collapse on themselves over time, and will open the door to a craft you can work on anywhere, anytime. After this class, you will feel comfortable creating 3-D needle felted sculptures to your heart's content!

Through several step-by-step high-quality instructional videos where I work side-by-side with novice needle felters, real life questions and answers, supportive encouragement, and feedback from students in the videos, you will learn the miraculous way wool is sculpturally shaped by delicate barbed needles. You will feel like we are working side-by-side as you view the videos in the comfort of your home or studio. You will feel like I am teaching and supporting you as you create your projects at your own pace.

** Please note: this listing is for instructional videos and downloadable files to teach you the craft of needle felting. No supplies, materials, or tools are provided with the purchase of this listing. You will need to purchase your own tools and supplies in order to create to art in the videos. *NOTE: I aim to provide a basic tool kit, and will post the link here as soon as it is up.

** Also, please NOTE: These classes are focused on dry needle felting. This is NOT Nuno felting or Wet felting. NO water, access to sinks, or anything having to do with water based felting techniques are involved in any of my classes. The type of dry needle felting I teach is done with loose wool fiber and barbed needles with a backing mat. Projects can be done sitting in a chair and working on your lap.This is a fantastic craft, and I can guarantee that wth a bit of patience and some creativity, you will adore this wonderful craft, and all the fantastic characters you create!
