My bed skirt has a one piece design consisting of three side panels and a sheet that fits under the mattress. The part that fits under the mattress is also made of the same color and quality burlap. There is no need to attach the bed skirt with pins.
I use high quality burlap that has a very light and natural jute scent and has no heavy odors.
