Colourful gilded flowers and rim in classic Art Deco shape, with ribbed detail.
The inside of the rim is also painted with gilded floral design on a pink colour trim.
Very good condition - no chips or cracks - the gilding on the rim is a little bit faint in places due to usage but is still very much present to the naked eye.

Although used as early as the 1880s, the Crown Devon name became common usage in the early 1900s. S. Fielding & Co. exported its ware throughout the British Commonwealth and the United States. The pottery was modernized in 1890. The company was incorporated in 1905. The Railway Works Pottery was renamed order Devon Pottery in 1911
This is an amazing piece - highly collectable - a statement in it self.
