Old hand carved wooden pestle
From Lombok Island in Indonesia

Age unknown but appears quite old
Very smooth wood surface (wood unknown)
Well used. Small chip to wood just under the left hand side of the figure. Also a natural vein in the wood half way down the shaft.

It is coated what appears to be very fine dried clay, leftover from when it was previously used. Would probably clean up easily if so desired. I have decided to leave the item as found to avoid the chance of any damage.
