Vintage Dante’ Carpenter Bench, order Oak Wood & Green Incolay Top of Hunting Dog Scene, Jewel/Organizer/Trinket Box, 1960-70s, Label Present

For your consideration a 1960-70s “Dante' Carpenter Bench” American Royal Oak Wood Jewel or Trinket Box or Dresser Organizer Box. This beautiful box is topped with green and white Incolay stone carved into a lovely hunting dog scene. The stone scene is framed in wood and opens with two brass hinges. The inside top is lined with deep green velvet as is thew inside of the box. The bottom of the box is divided by a strip of wood, and it too is velvet lined. The front is flat, and the back is tufted to hold rings or jewelry. The inside is as nice as the outside of the box. The bottom of the box is covered with black felt and has the Dante' label. The sides are finished lathe wood and make the entire box a work of art.

•Measurements: Box 12” long x 8.75” wide x 2.2” tall. Inside box size is 11 x 7”.

•Condition: Excellent overall. Wood has no observed cracks or marks. The stone is also free of cracks or marks. There is one small mark and bubble hole near the tail probably present at carving. Inside is perfect.
