The Chimes by Charles Dickens published in 1926 with wonderful full page color illustrations by George Alfred Williams. One of the beloved authors' Victorian Christmas stories.

Rare edition with beautiful cover that order includes a detailed impressed design, full color illustrated pastedown and gold accents.

Top page edges are gold gilt. Spine shows evidence of age and use with lightly bumped ends. Cloth corner tips have light rubbing wear. Very clean interior with clear text and illustrations.
