The design is done in the style of Matisse's cutout work, showing a clown or Pierrot.
This reduced version was printed by Mourlot (who printed the original order poster) for Fernand Mourlot's Art in Posters. Published by Andrè Sauret in Monte Carlo in 1959. This book reproduced all of the printer's posters for seven major Modern artists working in France in the mid-20th century. This book was in the French tradition of producing miniature versions of posters for connoisseurs and collectors using the techniques and materials used to produce the original works.

Condition: Edges of the sheet very slightly toned, otherwise fine.
