Muonionalusta is located north of the arctic circle in Sweden.

This meteorite crashed into Earth about a million years ago.

The first piece of the meteorite was found in 1906.

These meteorites are really hard to collect because of the extreme weather conditions.

This is an iron meteorite.

The little slices in these earrings have been etched to show the Widmanstatten pattern (the crystal structure of the meteorite).

The silver settings are open in the back so you can see the meteorites from both sides.
