This hand-built coil pot is inches 6 inches high (to top of lid) and 5 wide
inches wide appprox.
Holds 2.5 cups
This pot is fired to around 1850 degrees and taken out of the kiln with tongs and put in a trash can with shredded junk mail, closed for 5 or 10 minutes to crackle and have the crack filled with smoke. Then it is taken out and briefly dunked in water.
Raku is earth (clay) fire (kiln) air (the firing also) water (the immersing).
Nice lidded container for ash remain for beloved small pet or partial/shared remain of order a loved one.
