Sunflower Needle Felted Painting order Art

This needle felted Sunflower “painting” was inspired by my summer garden - always full of sunflowers! This art work would be perfect for the flower or nature lover, a room needing color, or someone looking for a conversation piece. The piece measures approximately 7.5” tall x 6.5” wide unframed. The framed and matted piece measures 12.25” square Frame is made from recycled materials and a styrene face.

Needle felting is a process in which loose wool roving is transformed into a “fabric” using a specialized needle and thousands of punches with the needle to imbed the fibers. Different colors of wool are shaped and blended to create a picture, much like painting. All my pieces are done free hand, using no order molds or stencils.

Care:
The piece can be lightly brushed to remove dust and dirt. If framed behind glass, simply clean the glass. You can not wash the wool piece. This is a piece of art, and care is similar to a painting.
