AquaSphere order Paperweight

This paperweight finds its depth in a cool aqua core surrounded by iridescent dichromatic flecking. The opalescent flakes float at the perimeter of the translucent turquoise and add contrast to the subtle water-like core.

This piece was created from 2150°F molten glass. Through careful modeling, marvering and manipulation, this bottle gradually defined its own shape. As is always the case with artisanal glass, this craft requires spontaneity and adaptability, making each unique piece one-of-a-kind.
