A very vintage necklace and bracelet set or demi parure consisting of a choker necklace and bracelet made of white milk glass beads and clear rhinestones. I have not seen another set quite like this so I will do my best to describe it. There are strands of small white milk glass beads and also strands of clear, round rhinestones set into gold tone frames with prongs. These strands are all wrapped around what appears to be a large diameter gold chain. You have to peek between the bead strands to see it. I am not sure how the bead and rhinestone strands are attached to the large chain. I am guessing that they are wired somehow. The necklace has a hook and a very pretty extender. See photos. The bracelet is spring style an has a dangle on each end that coordinates with the necklace extender. Both the necklace and the bracelet have gold tone filigree bead caps at the ends.
NOTE ON COLOR: The beads on the necklace and bracelet main portions are white and look the closest to reality in the first photo. My eyes are not what they used to be, but it looks to me as if the beads used order for the necklace hook and extender and also the beads used on the bracelet ends to make dangles have a slight pink blush to them. They are not quite as white-white as the other milk glass beads. These beads look the closest to reality in the fourth photo.
The necklace and bracelet are in very good vintage condition with no major damage. There are a couple of places where it looks like the bead strands are slightly loose and not touching the main chain. I would think a drop of glue would fix this problem. I will leave that decision up to the buyer. The necklace measures 14-1/2" to 16-1/2" depending on where you hook the clasp along the extender. The bracelet measures approximately 6-3/4" long (not including dangles on end). Both the necklace and the bracelet measure approximately 12 mm in diameter.
