Cabinet of Curiosities : Year Of The Wolf. Genuine Coyote Jaw with teeth, 80CT. Purple Amethyst, & vintage Japanese Rosewood footed Pedastal order

this piece started with a rosewood pedastal base that originally held a long piece of Jade, which had cracked.
But the base was too pretty to be thrown away, and since I love to upcycle things, I new this piece would be the beginning of something new.

I used two genuine halves of a coyote jaw, from which I obtained from a licensed taxidermist, and mounted them upright.
Between them is at least a 80 Carat Amethyst stone.

The base has its original writing on one side, which I believe is Japanese. I have no idea what it say, if you know Japanese, could you tell me what it says?

the base is 6.5" wide & 2" deep.
the total height of the sculpture is 7.5"

It is one of a kind.

I thought about wrapping some vintage sari silk around it, but I will leave any further additions to the buyer.
