What a beautiful 4 piece set of the Royal Grafton design. The design is so very similar on each piece. The fact that they are not found elsewhere on the internet makes them very unique and extremely rare!
The floral design in the center of each saucer is of green leaves and beautiful golden and darker colored flowers. The outer edges of the saucers are of dark green with golden dots, and have unopened insignias painted towards the center of the saucer.
The saucer in picture #5 has a center meant for a teacup, while the other saucer does not, and therefore is meant for a small meal. The small bowl is precious and is meant for a juicy dessert. The order tea saucer measures 6.25 inches across and stands .5 inches in height. The food saucer measures 5.5 inches across and stands .5 in height, while the tiny bowl measures 5 5/8 inches across, bowl and stands 1.25 inches in height.
These pieces should be used as decorative pieces only, as the paintings are so beautiful, and should not be disturbed by hand washing, and definitely not by a dishwasher. They are so very unique, and we can tell they are very old as the bowl has crackling on the bottom, and the other pieces show use. However, you can do what you want with them !!
Each saucer weighs 6.5 ounces, and the bowl weighs 4.7 ounces. These pieces will be sold as a set only for the price of $50.00. Etsy has calculated the shipping at $11.90.
