The Belfort at night, Bruges, Belgium. This beautiful original print is available in a 16x20 inch mount (8.5x13.5 in. image). The famous Belfort van Brugge (Bellfry of Bruges) overlooks the market place. It is medieval in origin but due to fire and lightning strikes it has been altered over the centuries. The 83m tower contains a clock and a 47 bell carillon. This photograph of the tower was captured at night and cropped to make the tower the main feature of the image. You order can see the bells hanging in the belfry. Being a nightime exposure on film, you may notice a few light trails which are part of the picture's natural charm.
This print is hand made in Yateley Darkroom using traditional Fibre-based paper, processed to archival quality using nothing more than light, chemistry and the skill of the printer, Adrian Nash.
