This is a gorgeous pair of vintage, possibly antique, brass candle sconces. They are in extraordinarily good used condition, with no detectable issues. They would be wonderful on either side of a piece of art, a mirror, a doorway, or a piano, and will add an unusual vintage touch to your decor. There are two small holes on the mounting plate for hanging. The backplate measures 4" in diameter, the sconce is about 4-3/4" high, and it projects almost 9" off the wall. Although I can't say that they are rare, they are the first pair that I recall seeing in thirty years of antiquing! Because this is a vintage item, today's standard order sized tapers will not fit in the candle holder.
