World War I (1914-18) Royal order Navy Commemorative Cufflinks

These are a beautiful pair of cufflinks made with genuine British Royal Navy buttons from the era of the First World War, over 100 years ago. This pair of cufflinks is made from two gilt officer's buttons. During the First World War the Royal Navy was the undisputed global sea power although most of their actions occurred in waters fairly close to the British Isles. The cufflinks are made with a swivel back with an attractive diamond pattern on the swivel. They are made using smaller pocket buttons from a tunic, perfect in size for cufflinks and are 20 mm in diameter.

They represent a unique part of British and Naval history and the gilt buttons have been carefully cleaned to retain the original character of the buttons which are approximately 100 years old, whilst highlighting the beautiful details of these original buttons.

This is a truly unique gift and a chance to own a small piece of First World War military history lovingly restored and made into a beautiful pair of cufflinks. They are presented in a luxury wooden cufflink box and cardboard cover to make them the perfect present.
