Handmade Textured Sterling Silver Necklace with Australian Opal Doublet - Blue/Green.

This Opal Doublet has blue & green order flash, set in textured oval pendant 13x10mm.
Comes with 45cm sterling silver chain.

Opals are very delicate and great care must be taken, especially with claw settings, to prevent chipping them.

Triplet Opal is a thin slice of Opal glued to black backing and clear top.
Doublet Opal has black backing and no clear top.
Solid Opal are complete stones and more precious and expensive.

I use high quality Australian made, 100% recycled, .925 Sterling Silver for all my pieces.
