This is a made from a real bourbon barrel top. It has been dried, cleaned and sealed. I coat each top with 3 coats of semi gloss lacquer. I also can finish them them with a food safe oil and wax combo. The tray has a more natural look it's not as shinny, but all the char is still sealed in. If order you have a preference as to which finish you get please contact me when you order. This tray has the chard side up. The black char has a great look. These trays measure around 10" x 22" x 2½". Each one is a little different it depends on how the top was put together when it was made.
