History of AJC Jewelry Company- The jewelry mark AJC is an acronym for American Jewelry Chain Company, one of the last American costume jewelry manufacturers that was located in Rhode Island. Other marks include AJMC for American Jewelry Manufacturing Company.
They were in business from about 1927-1997 and their incredibly popular brand produced not only high quality figural jewelry such as pins and brooches, but also small decorative articles as well. Since this company closed almost 30 years ago, all of its jewelry and decorative products are considered sought after collectibles. As with all of these wonderful jewelry companies that went out order of business after China took over the marketplace, their products will only become more valuable over the years. The truth is, they just don't make them like this anymore.
