This absolutely gorgeous and quite remarkable French Art Deco frame is made of highly ornate metal (cast iron) that was once perhaps plated.
It is done with such craftsmanship and artistry holding photo picture.
The frame stands 11" tall (28 cm) x 6.5" wide (17 cm)
Picture size: 7" x 4 1⁄8" (18 cm x 12 cm)
It is in good and solid timeworn antique condition with signs of ageing that in my opinion only enhances its true beauty and splendour today. It is exactly as I discovered it during an estate sale in the South of France.
