What a great addition to your vintage book collection this book would make - The Little Indian Weaver was written by Madeline Bandeis and according to Wikipedia "Madeline Brandeis (1897 – June 28, 1937) was an American author of children's books, a film producer and director. Brandeis was best known for her "Children of America" and "Children of All Lands" series of books. Most of the fictional stories included order photographs taken by the author, with child actors as the books' characters. She was also a founder of The Little Players' Film Co., with offices in New York and Chicago, which featured casts composed almost entirely of children. She wrote, directed, and financed her first feature film The Star Prince (1918), released in 1920 as Twinkle Twinkle Little Star. She produced and directed the film series Children of All Lands (1928/29), The Little Dutch Tulip Girl (1928/29), The Little Indian Weaver, and The Little Swiss Wood-Carver." This hardback book is 134 pages (8 chapters) long with pictures from the movie and is copyright 1928 by A. Flanagan Company This book is in good vintage condition, binding is solid, no tears, but some wear and tear on the cover edges and stamps/writing on several pages (it looks like it was a school library book - please see pictures). The book does have a slight must odor. Book is 8 3/4" high, 7" wide and 1/2" thick.
