This handcrafted, flag cutting board is simply amazing. The perfect gift for anyone who has served in the military or for a 4th of July gift. This custom cutting board is NOT painted, it is made from 3 different types of wood to give it the coloring so it is 100% safe to use for cutting food. We use Purple Heart for the blue and Padauk and Hard Maple for the stripes. Measuring roughly 14 inches long, 11 inches high and 3/4 inch thick, though size may vary slightly.

I know what your thinking. "But if I cut on this cutting board, I will ruin it!" Well fear not, both sides of this cutting board can be used for cutting so if you don't want to cut on the display side, the back side is perfect for cutting on so you can keep the front looking great for display!

▶▶ THE PROCESS
All of our cutting boards start out from hand selected rough cut lumber that we mill to size, cut into strips and glue to the rough shape and size of the board using a food safe FDA approved and environmentally friendly wood glue. After the glue has dried over night, order we plane to the proper width, cut to the proper size, router the edges and sand. After sanding, we sand some more. When is said and done, we oil the board with scentless, colorless, order-less and again, 100% food safe, Mineral Oil to condition the wood to make sure it lasts for a long long time.

All the wood is hand picked but varies from tree to tree. This means the grains of the wood and knots in the wood may be slightly different on your item. Your finished product may not look exactly like the one above but it will be unique and look amazing!
