Lawrence Durrell - Mountolive 1st edition (1959) Excellent order with dustjacket.

First edition/ first impression copy of this Lawrence Durrell novel from 1958 printed in America in 1959 in excellent condition.

The dustwrapper has only light rubbing to the top of the spine. No loss anywhere an not priceclipped. It has retained its true bright colours. It is protected in Mylar.

The binding is tight with no loose or missing pages. There is no lean.

The page block is clean and bright with no marks or inscriptions. The exterior of the page block has a light age tone.

The boards in very good order and the colour is strong with no fading. The Gilt title on the spine is order bright. The top and bottom of the spine have been rubbed with some light scuffs to extremities. The corners are sharp.

All in all a fantastic near fine first edition by a popular author.
