Ceramic order yerba mate cup, Mate gourd rustic style, Small handbuilt vase

This is a ceramic gourd in delicate design with thin geometric (moche meander) band on the rim.
The calabash is hand built, decorated with copper and iron oxides (outside).

Made of clay. Safe lead-free tableware glaze inside.
Outside it is also covered with bee wax for water resistance and smoother touch.

*Why do I make ceramic cups for yerba mate?
I tested it myself and discovered that they are easier to use - no troubles with cracking because of drying, or bacteria growing as with traditional gourds.
