Antique Spangled Varicolored Cased Glass Fluted Bowl/ Vase with Multiple Mica Flakes / Vasa Murrhina

Gorgeous bowl with bright flakes of silver mica interspersed among the various glass colors. Spangled glass was introduced by the Hobbs, Brocunier & Co in the early 1880's.

Material: Spangled glass and mica flakes

Weight: 12.4 oz

Dimensions: 3” tall. Base is 4 3/8” and the fluted opening is 4” to 4 ¾” wide.

Condition: Excellent with just a couple of flea bites on the fluted edge.
